Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that he will continue to develop road infrastructure in different parts of the state to create access to all communities.
Speaking after inspecting the ongoing construction of Ozuoba-Rumuosi road and Amadi-Ezekwem-Rumuokparali road in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area on Tuesday evening, the governor said that road construction will continue alongside development of other sectors of the state's economy.
He expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the two roads while advising the contractors to maintain the quality of execution .
The governor was accompanied on the road inspection by the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Bro Felix Obuah.
Highpoint of tuesday's inspection tour was the direct interaction between the governor and selected members of the communities where the roads are being constructed.
